The following divisions comprise the Pflugerville Police Department.
The Central Records Division provides a wide variety of services to the public ranging from Accident/Collision Reports, Open Records requests, Alarm Permits, and Peddler/Solicitor permits.
Criminal Investigations Division
CID, or the Criminal Investigations Division, is responsible for the follow-up investigations of misdemeanor and felony complaints
Communications, also called Dispatch, is a division with the primary function to satisfy the immediate communication needs of the agencies in their daily activities and during emergencies.
Emergency Management Services
Emergency Management Services protects public health and safety and preserves public and private property from the effects of hazardous events.
Office of Community Liaison
The Office of Community Liaison serves the community by managing numerous outreach activities including, National Night Out, Blue Santa, Citizens on Patrol and the Citizens Police Academy.
The primary purpose of the patrol division is the protection of life and property and the promotion of the safety and welfare of the general public.
The PfPD and PfISD work together to keep the students on all PfISD campuses safe, while addressing the unique requirements of campus safety and security.
Professional Standards Unit
Professional Standards is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, internal affairs investigations, use of force reviews and vehicle fleet maintenance.
Police Public Information Officer
The Police PIO is the media liaison and manages communications and public information for the Police Department.
The Traffic Division of the Pflugerville Police Department is responsible for enforcement of traffic laws.
