Keep your bikes safe - Register them with the Police Department

bike registrationRegistration consists of assigning a number to each bicycle and placing a sticker on the bike. The registration card includes the owner's name, address, parent's name, phone number, bicycle brand, model, serial number, colors and any special features.

By registering your bicycle, the police department will have a record in case your bicycle is lost, found or stolen. To inquire about reclaiming a lost or stolen bicycle, call the Property Room at 512-990-6860. All found bikes are kept for a minimum of 30 days.

Bicycle Safety Courses are offered by the Office of Community Liaison to groups and/or classes of children. The Safety Course is also offered during the Annual Bicycle Rodeo in April each year. Courses are offered free of charge.

Register your bike now at the Police Department and watch for the next Bike Rodeo coming up in the spring.

For more information or to request registration, call the Office of Community Liaison of the Police Department at 512-990-6940 or OCL@pflugervilletx.gov.
